SHE WAITED

She waited.
All her life all she did was wait.
She couldn't take the plunge
Couldn't bring herself to do it

Fate and Providence sat in a corner
With sad but hopeful eyes
She was at the end, all she needed
Was to jump and she could fly

She started moving, running, sprinting
Fate cheered for her, so did Providence
But she stopped. Stopped right at the end.
She went back and she waited.

Down below the cliff,
The world went back with a sigh.
